Tbh, I remember that I read this probably last year, or when it had only a few chapters on NU. I read it all in MTL, but it wasn't difficult at all.

The main reasons I dropped the novel and placed in my DNF personal reading list (= did not finish) :

The MC was too OP, way too fast, which made the plot pretty boring. I personally like weak to strong stories where the strength build up is slower and more believable.

The "harem" part was just... too over the top, not even a smidgen of realism there. I have read some really well written polyamory romance. For instance, The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan was such an outstanding fantasy that I didn't care if the male MC had 3 wives or 15. Because each and every female character was written as if they were a person you would want to get to know. Like she had a personality beyond merely being interested in a strong guy's (insert censored word). The reason I hate this atrocious depiction of polyamory is that the female love interests are reduced to being cardboard cutouts. You can barely differentiate each one from another. Not only that, but as the MC gets stronger, his golden finger matches him with additional wives. Uh.... like the author literally reduces the MC's "strength level" with his "wife game." Um. How weird can it get? And the author wants to make us readers believe that the government is going to force strong warrior men to have many wives in order to "save humanity." Pfft. What a joke! The author just wants an excuse to have his MC have an over abundance of wives, as if it makes him more masculine. It's a terrible wish fulfillment fantasy without any speck of quality in terms of world building, or being able to empathize with both main and side characters. Polyamory stories can be written well -- if the author doesn't focus primarily on the "OP strong masculinity" factor to the detriment of everything else in the plot.

The only halfway interesting piece of this novel is the action. But there are better written action novels out there, so I decided to drop it after I got past the 100 chapter mark (I don't remember what chapter I was on, and my browser history didn't record it).
