I agree with the review from ILoveCarrots. In the beginning I glad because I thought I finally found a story where the tsundere character wasn't an annoying caricature. The MC is reticent, minds his own business (but isn't afraid to speak his mind), and doesn't easily let people in but you could tell from his actions, he not-so secretly cares about people. Great! Perfect example of a tsundere.

But then as the story progresses, there's misunderstanding after misunderstanding because he doesn't communicate. He also gets violent and moody after these misunderstandings (which are usually caused by him). The ML has to carry the entire relationship load. He has to constantly guess why MC is upset, tolerate his mood swings, and change his actions because he knows how MC is. Being a tsundere doesn't mean your mouth doesn't work or that you can't show remorse. MC gets upset at himself when he realizes it was his mistake but doesn't do anything to rectify it. He actually doubles down on the awful behavior as if it was ML's fault. Honestly, that sounds like an abusive relationship to me. I'm halfway through the story and he hasn't developed or changed a bit and I don't think I can stand any more of it. Based off the other reviewers who have finished, it doesn't sound like he changes all that much at the end either.

I didn't rate it lower because I did like rest of the plot, dialogue and the school life. It was lighthearted and felt natural. But it was like the author had shackled the MC to the tsundere trope with no breathing room.
