I am absolutely loving this series so far! It's very refreshing in that the main character, Lin Dan, does not give a *damn* about romance and does *not* need to rely on hugging some "male god's" golden thigh to achieve her goals (which always vary and are very interesting) in whatever world she's in. Lin Dan is honestly kind of a perfect Mary Sue-type... but she's also incredibly fun to read about and her brand of perfection is more about being super self-controlled and competent than charming/beautiful. In fact, she's expressly said to be fairly ordinary but good looking in most arcs, which is so nice to read after way too many novels where the author basically can't stop orgasming from the female lead's beauty.Anyway, if you want to read about the interesting adventures of a super-clever and competent woman who don't need no man in order to achieve her goals, this is the story to read. This is such a fun, refreshing read!
