Not rating, but I’m not sure how I feel about humans being pets in a serious setting. They don’t get very many, if any, choices to make, and they have somewhat of an inability to be individuals. It hits me in a way I don’t like, it sort of feels like s*avery... humans being treated as things rather than living, breathing creatures on the same level as the dragons, like how some people treat their cats and dogs (which I also hate, animals have feelings too).
