This series is not a 5-star masterpiece. It's also not a 4.5 star great novel either. You won't jump for joy on every chapter release, but I can say with confidence that if you give this series a chance -- and by that I mean keep reading up til you meet Fran -- or past chapter 12ish or so -- I think you will be pleasantly surprised.This series is cute, it is fun, it is amusing, it has action, and it has Fran.
