It's pretty generic sure, and there's probably many like it (can't find any though), but there a certain itch that it scratches perfectly.Basically the title summarizes it perfectly, she needs to raise her family to the top position in that world, the system isn't crazy op beyond belief but rather just turns the things she'd go and do anyways into objectives and makes the process more game like. There are two things I personally find interesting about the series, the protagonist and how much the series relishes in the lower bounds of cultivation. What I like about the protagonist is that in no point in the story is she irritating, everything she does seems to be well thought out and makes sense from both logical and character stand points. Later the story makes her out to be pretty whimsical and a bit mischievous, which is funner than most cookie cutter protagonists out there. Basically, she's enjoyable to follow. What I find most interesting though is how little of a rush the story is in to make everyone simultaneously go to Nirvana. No soul changing or whatever stage of cultivation in 4 chapters, everyone is going through the same process, and as cultivation should be, faster or slower absolutely no one is going through what should be a 1000 year process in a couple months, nor is the story so blatantly disinterested in the plot to where it would just skip said 100 years to get along with it. There are lots of aspects to improving the entire families level. At where I'm at in the story characters are improving but no one has really made a major step in their cultivation except the very beginners. I like this since, although it is a cultivation story, it's not the entire focus and it doesn't just feel like a list of descriptions. The story is pretty consistently entertaining, instead of "ten years past now I'm at blah, blah stage, now one hundred more past." It maintains enough variety to not be agonizing to read through.I give it 5 stars mostly because I've been looking for a series with these elements for, and this one suits my own personal tastes, but I'd recommend it regardless.
