Transmigrated Villain: My Fiancée Orders Me To Beg The Male Lead’s Forgiveness Chapter 640 Discussion

Unfortunately I think author dropped it. I hope I'm wrong, I really like this one.

This novel is very similar to second generation villain (which is great bc I love that book). Very much a villain story, MC is very manipulative and ruthless. I think the writing quality here is a bit worse, but the protagonist subplots are much more modern, it makes fun of a LOT of recent popular villain/canon fodder counter attack novels. Which leads to quite a few matryoshka plots (MC is counter attacking the counter attacker).

Author uses wildest euphemisms for sx and he does that very often. Romance is basically non existent, majority of girls deeply fall for MC after first glance, the rest do that after being SAed. Which is no big loss, capturing girls tends to not be of much interests in harem books like that.

Girls are very enthusiastic and have fairly distinct personalities, but also very underused (as it normally is in harems). It would make a lot of sense to have some of stronger girls to act as bodyguards or run errands since MC likes to pretend. But we can't have that bc that would emasculate the MC, so we end up with nobodies in master and even transformation realm threatening the MC. There was also a lot of talk about MC body constitution and dual cultivation methods would improve girl's strength, but it lead to nothing, no one got any stronger; after some point in the novel, MC is the only one doing fighting and things.

I also think that last major protagonist, cultivator regressor Qin Fan just doesn't make any sense. Spoiler

He is basically a god among men literally strongest person in the world around mid mythic realm (dark force->transformation->master->legend->mythic). In his previous life, MC used and betrayed him. He thinks MC is weak and yet he watches MC SA (it was actually consensual, but that's beside the point) his fangirl and does nothing. I just don't understand why Qin Fan would do nothing and why MC would expect to be safe doing that. MC has no leverage and no value for him, he is just a target of his revenge. idk, unless there is some strong deterrent, I would fully expect he'd make the MC disappear even without any provocation.

Amusingly enough MC has quite a bit of deterrent (5 wives in legendary realm and 3 ghost wives above that), so just introduce them...

Also brutal NTR subplots with this guy in his previous life. Mad respect to MC.

And then there is Xuang "I died and heroines wept" guy. Spoiler

He was said to be involved in MC's parents death. Did author forget? Hello? I was very much expecting this subplot to be resolved. MC mother is supposed to be plot savvy powerhouse in high legend realm. How did she die? Did she ascend? Is MC her reincarnation?

Also a bit of an offtopic rant. MC does the whole "If this girl is sensible and joins me, I will make her happy, but if she sided with the protagonist, I will destroy her" speech more than once. As expected from villain, I respect the dedication to gender equality. But just once in these kind of novels, I want to see a girl firmly side with the protagonist. Why is everyone so sensible?
