If you enjoy Jane Austen or Georgette Heyer, you will probably enjoy this novel! The author has a great balance of whimsical light-heartedness crossed with intriguing mystery. The pacing is quick and the chapters are never boring.Mostly though, I'm impressed with the characters. They're all very three dimensional and have their own thoughts and motivations. Even the most braindead villain at least has some clear reasons behind their actions. The MC is also a delight, she's funny and smart. The romance between her and the ML also feels very natural. There is no love at first sight but instead it builds slowly through spending time together.I don't know why people are calling this novel too long, I've seen novels with 1500+ chapters and this one only has 400? That's pretty reasonable for a CN novel, I think. Also, the translation is A++!
