The story premises is that he (the MC) already destroyed the plot by applying to the academy by mistake and kicking out the original protagonist (by elimination)... and he acknowledged this more than once, but for some absurd reason he is still obsessed with keeping the plot "intact"... and you know what this is not even the problem.He is sooooo passive, and contradicting... he is okay with keeping the spy heroine around him and don't even mind when she attempts to poison him (false accusation), but he reject vehemently the approache of Saintess heroine... why?, because she is a "threat" to his plans... anyway, the point here is how he can't keep consistenting behaviour.And his passiveness manifest in his way of dealing with trouble, instead of dealing with the bomb before it was even detonate, he choose to risk everyone life (including his) by dealing with explosion instead, and instead of getting rid of an inhumane and cruel general, he choose to save him from the assassination instead and risk the life of a few thousands of innocent civilians because the f*cking lunatics on the opposite side are desperate enough to kill thousands of civilians to kill just one individual, what a f*cking mess is this?There is nothing to like about this novel for now, the MC is passive and inconsistent, the protagonist is will-less cold-blooded killing machine, the academy is lacking in everything essential to function as proper academy, the kingdom camp consists of cowardly and cruel people, the empire camp consists of arrogant and also cruel people.The only the heroines are good, because they haven't done anything extreme yet, I hope that they at least will be the rational part of the story, but... I will not bet on that.
