Disciple, No! Master, I Am Much Older Than You Chapter 85 Discussion

One of the worst things I've ever read -- seriously.

I read the MTL so I won't comment on translation quality, but this is by far the most boring, repetitive novel I've had the misfortune of picking up.

The main character kills someone so their family comes to kill the MC, the MC kills them, then some other group comes to kill the MC, the MC kills them, then some other group comes to kill the MC, the MC kills them...

Literally nothing happens. No interesting characters are introduced, he doesn't go anywhere (except instantly appearing at a family who have offended him to wipe them out), he doesn't find any treasures: dumb people come to kill him over and over and he slaps them into a red mist in a single hit. There hasn't been a single foe so far the MC hasn't been able to one-shot. The descriptions are all the same too - "slapped into red mist", again and again and again.

I'm not against a powerful character getting into fights, but everything is so meaningless here. The enemy is introduced in one chapter and in the next they're a red fog after a slap from Su Yifan. He leaves his female master in the first chapter to go back to his hometown, and in chapter 85, where I finally couldn't take anymore, she still hasn't shown up again. I kept reading, waiting until they reunited to see if their relationship developed at all, but I really can't continue with it. I'd rather drink battery acid than read another chapter of this shit.

Do NOT read.
