tbh, none of them are likable at all. All of them are selfish. At first, I thought that the white lotus sister was not unsalvageable because at first, all she ever did was guide others to misunderstand the FL (at least before the kidney incident), then later on, she decided to become stronger and be positive but later on, she still became an annoying existence. Well, she didn't become an annoying villain to the FL, but still, I kinda have complicated feelings for her. I indeed don't like her but although her selfishness is innate, I still think that she's really not that hopeless to the extreme at first, but then, people just kept pushing her to her eventual blackening even if she wants to live quietly. Nevertheless, maybe it's the others'cruelty and her selfishness as well which leads her to such an ending. As for the brother, he deserved what happened to him. He's a psychopath through and through. I won't talk about the scumbag father anymore, but as for the mother, she's not innocent either. Yes, she's the only one in the Jiang family to sincerely hope for the FL's forgiveness, but nevertheless, it's too late.
[collapse]Honestly, I still find the existence of the FL's family of villains to be ridiculous. It's like their miseries are just used to emphasize how good the FL's life is now. In short, if novel transmigration is real, anyone wouldn't want to be reincarnated as one of the FL's family.Lastly, regarding the narration, sometimes I think that the author focused too much on the white lotus sister more than the FL. I also feel like the ending was kinda rushed. After all, the setting was the university and it is more focused on the characters' school life, then suddenly there's just a time skip where the characters graduated then the FL and ML got successful, etc. Quite jumpy tbh. But nevertheless, I quite enjoy the comedic undertone.Overall, it's quite a satisfying story. Probably not my favorite but I don't dislike it. 7/10.
