pretty decent especially if you like non-BL shounen xianxia, this reminds me of a lot of xianxia novels i've read in the past. unfortunately, this MC and ML are not that likeable... not that they're bad or anything, but a bit lacking in personality especially once they get together. there are some moments where I feel like jing yue is shining but then he returns to being lacklustre so I just dont know... ji-ji on the other hand, is excellent HAHAH I recommend everyone who is a ji-ji main skip the extra chapters tbh because for the most part I just feel sad for ji-ji in them 🥲 and they are of no substance anyway.overall still decent, worth your time if you just want to read a cultivation BL and don't need something with a well thought-out plot
