It's okay, the novel throws you right into a story that already started, so you have no attachment to any of the characters nor what's going on in the novel.The author tries to make this a comedy type novel with minimal plot, together with possible romantic comedy. However, all the comedy seems to either be lost in translation or just is not funny like how it was translated.I tried reading 5 chaps but I still have no attachment as the story just got thrown in a already started story, with literal zero background and information on why the current FL & MC married for example. Each chapter is just a poor written comedy skit of one scene.One could argue I didn't read enough as I had to get far enough to reach where they got multiple povs, but the novel isn't slow paced writing. That is not how the author is writing. It is just poorly structured. And it shouldn't take that much investment into a non slow paced story. Plus these type of early investment committments are only good when there's some sort of mystery and it is written good with background snippets/development. But the story is like dropping into a random show halfway into the season, without it even being the first season.
