This novel has a bad case of "introducing the solution before introducing the problem", so the plotline has trouble being relevant. Rather, it feels to me like a slice of life with a lot of staged action sequences. The reason it's a problem is that a lot of the "pre-solved problems" drag on, so you have 50+ chapters at a time with a lot of side of stories of people with no relevance to the main chapter whatsoever. Also, the protagonist gets an unusually low amount of screen time overall, so it's hard to enjoy purely as a slice of life. With too many (consecutive) chapters with nothing going on, I can't recommend reading it as new releases come out, but there are certainly enough chapters available to binge and see if you'll want to read to the end.
