I really want to like it because it's the only thing I've read with a proper dragon protagonist (lustful, prideful, etc)... but it's just too poorly-written. The Earth parts are incredibly cringe, but the worst thing is the plot holes and inconsistencies. Just two super early examples of annoying problems: Spoiler
there's a spell that blocks everything, including electromagnetic radiation (so comms technology fails)... but people can see in no problem??? Wtf do you think light is??? Even worse is the time dilation thing... they can speed up time between worlds, but it costs basically nothing for a single person? So he has a 30-1 time difference on each side. How tf is changing the timeflow of an entire world dependent on the number of outsiders???
[collapse]There are MANY things like that, to the point that I realized I'm just forcing myself to read even through the better world parts. It gets 2 stars because I love lustful and prideful protagonists (he accepts a group of s*x s*aves pretty much at the beginning), but I just can't get past the plot holes.
