I'd put this one into below 'average' group. Why:
- I don't care that each arc is quite long, it's good to have few events to be interesting, but it is ruined by OP-ness of both MC and ML. Sometimes I love OP-ness, when MC is portrayed as a really cool and charming character, but other times OP-ness, like in this novel, simply makes events not even worth it. The original trajectory goes into the safe/boring zone and it makes the original drama disappear (e.g. in first arc MC is taken away right away and he's almost like a background to the story, in second arc he prevents his lover to be involved with others off the bat and prevents many things before they happen, in third arc he escapes the evil plans right away too), which makes the thrill gone. Even MC and ML though having lots of place feel like side-characters. And thus the chapters keep on going about... nothing in particular. So the reading turns into a long and tedious process.
- I actually MTL this one (it's pretty understandable) and after re-reading second arc I realized why I stopped. I really don't like this ML, he's the type that like only MC and is hostile to everyone else, when he falls in love he thinks only how to drop everything and just escape (despite being in a very high position), it feels irresponsible. Next he's the type who is jealous of everyone like wtf no, wants to inprison MC. I mean... how about NO. These type of MLs don't care about individuality of their beloved, they don't care about their interests, they come across as obsessed maniacs. I don't really like the MC at this point either, but what dicreased my interest is connected to their child (I don't care if it will come as a spoiler). This novel describes all the things I hate when it comes to kids in BL novels. First of all, MC is glad that they can breed a child in incubator and he doesn't need to be pregnant like a woman, which is meh. I prefer MCs who love their kids and don't shy away from them and never treat kids as obstacle. Secondly they use the kid simply to be a successor so they can take a shortcut and just enjoy themselves, leaving the kid dealing with all the sh*t at young age, which is effing selfish and lacks any love. I know that there were short bits f showing love, but it really came across weirdly. Especially when ML at times thinks of their child as a third wheel, I prefer MLs who love their children, because they understand it's part of them both (for example, ML from "The correct way of face-slapping in transmigration" dearly loved a kid, who in the arc story was an orphan, while in reality he had soul of his son from previous world or look at ML+MC from "Turn on the love system" who had lots of kids almost each arc and none is treated as coldly or ML from "Genral loves to collect red flowers" how happy he was when they got triplets, he treated his children as treasures)
