A really well written novel with a very engaging plot decorating with many interesting and lively cast of characters.The one thing that make this novel really good in my opinion is how the author decorate each scene with characters actions. He really make their character pop out with every little action they took. They not just freeze or silent when they are not in focus. You can actually imagine what they would do in certain situation. Yeah, they might not be a complex and complicated characters but they are certainly really great characters. This make the story feels actually alive and not just flat. The only thing of complain is the world building that just seem barebone. It follow the usual chinese cultivation mapping and power distribution. Nothing of note.
