First of all I couldn't find a complete chinese language novel of this so I couldn't finish reading it completely by using google translator. Regretfully, I have to wait for the English translations (currently 388 chapters are available at the time of writing this review) to continue reading further.The story somewhat follows the title, the MC isn't some hidden op character; you can tell that his sister (sister-disciple) is definitely stronger than him and hence following the tag line 'turning sister into a soaring phoenix'.The concept is somewhat similar to the novel 'Ending Maker' where the protagonist enters the game and knows about the game story and hence it's his cheat. The MC in this novel also uses his knowledge from the game to interfere in the upcoming events and reap benefits.The relationship between the MC and the heroines is well portrayed, though it is also used at some places in the story as a leverage, where the author struggled with 'how to progress the story from here', so he used some forced romance to push through the blockade, which isn't fun to read. But well, it's only done in some small places so does not affect your overall mood while reading the novel.
