Someone please give me a link to more chapters, I'm dying for more!This novel is overall intriguing and places an emphasis towards the overall world-building than in comparison to the romance. For those who enjoy a slow-burn side romance mixed with intriguing political and mystery plots, this one is a go read. The author imbeds suspicious points throughout the novel and leaves room for the reader to formulate their own guesses towards the veiled truth. Like other reviews mentioned, the seme is the always smiling golden retriever while the MC is the expressionless black cat. Throughout my reading of the novel, the one thing I noticed was the MC always berating himself and putting himself lower than he actually is. His criticism of himself is something I hope changes in the future with future character development, but the overall plot is enjoyable. This was one of my best reads this year, I hope anyone reading this equally enjoys the web novel. I am now going to go cry that there are only so few chapters, will be checking back on this novel later.
