First, I have to say that I am enjoying this. It begins in the pits of tragedy and enrages me how the FL is treated both before and after transmigration. But I love a little drama and tragedy if it means setting things up appropriately for the characters later on. And it does.
Second, this is a book about the more ancient and archaic societies. Yes, there is an age gap in physical years. But the FL has been through TWO lives. In my mind that makes her actually OLDER than the ML. So despite him being older I, originally, felt that it should be the male that is being preyed on more than the other way around.
Third, you've probably read comments about this feeling like in*est. Maybe. It feels like it COULD be because of their bond growing up together but it's not. Emotional bonds can form and change over time. But the FL and ML aren't blood related (this is explained further in the story and makes sense so you'll have to read it). So I don't feel it is in*est due to their being no blood shared between them. They had no connection before the transmigration, FL changed the script to her benefit, and the bond of friendship slowly formed. It couldn't be called "sibling' because it's not giving that vibe. Things changed because the FL actions 'saved' the ML. And her actions from that point onward cement her life in the family.
And, Finally, the ML isn't as yandere as some may like but it IS present in how he deals with others especially those who he perceives want to harm or take away his FL. He can be down right mu*derous toward a person for speaking to his precious FL one moment and loving soft boy to her the next. In the same breath the FL is the one you gotta watch out for lol. She's an amazing character who doesn't give a sh*t about others. She's a yandere herself and manipulative.
Look the point is that this book does get a nod from me. It's weird, raises a few eyebrows, and has some decent writing in it. I've laughed a lot and I am looking forward to more. It's not real life so the idea of the age gap and other stuff doesn't make me blink. Now, if it was real life I would ask WTF but since it isn't I am going to keep reading for my entertainment. All I ask is that you stop reading the comment section, go read at least ten chapters, and if you decide you're done, well, stop reading it. And if you wanna keep diving into the story go for it.
