Futile Calculations Chapter 36 Discussion

I had to drop 2 stars from my previous review as the premise started out interesting but it has gotten bland. The FL is 14 yo and her goal is to be a fairy thus she thought she is studying "divine cultivation" under the tutelage of ML. Love was forced as ML pressured her IMO. She is well-protected, naïve, and trust everybody. The ML is in his early 20s or late teenager? I know this is an ancient storyline but I cannot wrap my head around him being intimate with her as she is being threatened by him! There wasn't a time skip so she is still 14 yo! Dubious consent. Per the story, this 14 yo FL is intellectually/emotionally disabled bc it was forced upon her for her safety (this storyline is beating the dead bush as it is redundant in other stories - trying to explain why the FL is dumb). I thought the FL's thought process is aligned with a typical 14 yo as she is emotionally unstable and she hasn't matured yet. Her secret sister lied to her about her pills and gave her a monthly blood pill that hid her distinct features yet made her dumb hence, she also hasn't started her menses yet. Accordingly, without starting menses, growth hormones doesn't kick in so the ML falling in love with her raised a red flag to me. Her secret older sister match-made them and I felt FL's will is taken away from the get go.

The story progressed to how she fell in love with ML but again this is a 14 yo. Side note: I get why her step brothers fell in love with her since childhood and they know she is adopted. IMO, storyline should have made her at least 17 yo from the onset.

The side characters made up for the stories as they are funny. Overall, plot is weak and story is bland
