I believe the child Sylvia is carrying is Odell's and she won't tell him because she fears that the as****le will the take the child away from her once he/she is born.

I think they both love each other & bc Jiev had earlier said he did not believe in love, but is now acting as if they are in a love relationship, it's confusing for Ella. I think she is smart enough to figure it out. She also has self-respect & will ultimately determine her acceptable limits.
