Objectively a 1, subjectively a 4, I'll split the difference to 2.5 and round up.The writing is all over the place and full of the author literally saying "this part and that part don't really fit the story but I added them because I wanted to give certain characters more screen time". The story itself isn't that good (slice of life isn't a genre known for having a strong story anyway) and it's clear that everything you read about is wish fulfillment. There are a lot of running gags that only people who like Japanese harem comedies will appreciate.Putting those minor issues aside, there's a certain charm to the story. It's a similar experience to watching a child draw a picture happily with crayons - you don't always recognize what he's drawing or why, but it puts a smile on you face as he describes it to you. And sure, it won't win any awards, but it transports you to a place where everyone is kind and everyone can be happy in the end. There's a soul in the work that many novels with better writing lack.If that appeals to you at all and you don't absolutely hate the tags/genres, it might be worth giving the story a try.
