This novel is above average for your typical power fantasy isekai. The translation is very good quality, and the MC is not a slab of cardboard. The slice of life portions of the novel are also what makes it great.As for the downsides, the primary downside is the main character. His personality is obnoxious at times, but the one thing that can make this novel impossible to read for some is his choice of verbiage. He swears A LOT. Excessively. I do not mind swearing, and will even admit that swearing can enhance the tone of a novel if used correctly. However in this novel swearing is used wherever possible. For no good reason other than "MC is cool cuz he swears". Instead of an adult, the novel feels as if it was an edgy 12-13 year old that transferred over.Also in 2024 the constant jokes of the MC being a p3do might seem outdated. Like watching those old fashioned disney cartoons.
