it's a decent read, if not good. But first, translation quality is really good despite the group name having MTL. Heck they even have footnotes about japanese pop cultures and such.about the novel itself, being a vtuber story that goes viral suddenly, it's kind of a common thing found in this genre. But I like that the flow doesn't feel forced because "it's convenient for the story development" rather it's kind of something you find irl, such as streamers' blunders and being teased about it, and finally becoming their own part of identity (think of it like Gura's legendary "a") pace is ok, but sometimes it lacks some filler stories to cement the plot. Like one time it hasn't been too long that he suddenly got invited to a duo vtuber's popular show despite him not having collabs with his own group yet. Perhaps author has ideas and they wrote immediately without waiting for other ideas to come, resulting in some rushed decision. But even then, the actual chapter doesn't feel rushed. They felt polished enough to be enjoyed as a standalone chapter if you kind of ignore the overall story flow.there is a romance tone in it, but not the main focus. It is ultimately a fluffy read with light comedy in the entire story. In fact the comedy part should be the main attraction, it really feels like you're watching a livestream of a hilarious vtuber with all the manzai and teasing involved.verdict: pretty fun read, recommended to be enjoyed with a light heart
