I actually read this some time ago, but I lost the novel's title and bookmark. I gave up on finding this some time ago, but I bumped into this again in pure coincidence, so I'm quite happy abt that.

From what I've gathered so far, Rebecca just had her debut and is also younger than MC, who is twenty-one... And Duke Khalid (widowed grown ass) is in his 30's-ish, , , , , , , , , , , um haha what is this situation🥰🥰 I'm so uncomfy cause why is this lowkey pe*ophilia portrayed in a positive way.....

It's giving that one episode from Violet Evergarden (princess charlotte [14] and her fiancé [24]💀💀)

Um, , , MC saying that she could date a poor man, but she couldn't date a ugly man is one of my favourite moments.

The ML is a green flag from the start, and the way he flushes is so cute, he's so gentle and kind---perfect for MC. Spoiler

This man fr had nightmares of MC rejecting him and treats the ring she gave him like it's a national treasure😭

And the way MC communicates all her feelings leave no space for misunderstandings (thank god) is the most satisfying thing ever.

This does have streaks of things I don't like, but it's still a heart-warming story. It includes love and healing in different ways as well. MC and ML, MC and her family, ML and his son---you can literally see how much they love each other through their interactions. And ML trying his best for his son is so....uguggh</3 to watch, especially when both of them are very hesitant to accept love and give love.

MC is kind of like a bridge, while both of them are on opposite sides. She provides a way for him to reach and understand each other, but it's their (mostly ML cuz the son is just a child) choice and decision to actually walk across the bridge and heal.

Overall, I love MC and ML's relationship and I can't wait to see it grow more.
