So, I managed to get through 25 chapters of plot armor, with many indications that it would only get thicker. I was torn between 1 and 2 stars, I decided to generously give it 2 stars, which may have been overrating it.As someone else said, the story is very flat. It's like he's playing a computer game.The setting itself defies all logic.If your government suddenly has gates showing up, would they truly let completely untrained individuals go in to die?Seriously? A One day training session on how to use the dungeon and then have at it kid!And the author's thoughts on mages? That's when I started to bail out.
