It is lacking in the interpersonal relationships department, I think this is both because of the MC's "concept, " but also because that isn't really the focus of the story. Instead, the focus is on the showbiz, but more excitingly, the acting, I love the acting, like, seriously seriously. All of the other bits are good and don't drag the work down, but the best parts to read and enjoy are when the author/translator cut loose with the vocab and the imagery becomes vivid.This work has the obligatory reactions of people around the MC, because he is truly broken, but the author turns this into a selling point by giving the side characters the opportunities to make their own conjectures and assumptions about why or how MC is doing things, which is often played for comedy.
