Looks to be written better than average. Tbh although it says agnst I really wasn’t expecting the first few chapters. I feel the MC is deluding himself too much. He poses as reliable and calm but anything related to ML he just flips all his personality. Personally I couldn’t read it anymore past the 14th chapter. I get that he has feelings for ML since background story says he helped MC with a rather distressing issue 3 years before they got married plus ML total hottie and rich. It’s normal. But he knows exactly what situation he put himself in, but still holds on to vague feelings and whatever ‘goodwill’ how little thrown by ML his way. They’re in a contractual relationship which already has an contractually written end period. Why is he still jonesing on ML. I feel it’s OoC for him too be angst about ML being indifferent. Because he’s the one harping on something they both agreed to begin with that isn’t. Causing unnecessary heartache. I would rather he act indifferent to ML in the beginning then let nature takes it course. But nah, he just has to pine over it and places himself Pretty low and demeaning only because he made the situation as such. But as ML put the contractual relationship in the beginning, it’s a ‘mutually beneficial’ relationship where one gets a shield (ML) and one gets financial resources (MC). One where he was a willing party not forced. Pretty weird yep
