A decent story but very slow pace. I'm not entirely sure where the author is planning to go with this story but it isn't going to be reaching it's final destination any time soon. A lot of action and plenty of focus on the MC's interactions with others. The story is about the MC getting stronger but his super OP ability doesn't help that goal very much aside from being a good source of income, so the MC is developing at a slow but steady pace. Unfortunately the author seems to want to make the MC's power the source of his strength and it is pretty unclear how he is going to do that without the MC discovering BS plants that are ridiculously useful and way better than anything that he has even heard of until now. There is a clear explanation in place for how the MC is going to accomplish this but I'm not interested enough to keep reading.

Essentially this is the story of an MC with a broken ability that would be incredible for alchemy and making money but that the author is determined to somehow make useful in battle. That would still be fine but the author keeps raising the stakes for how powerful the MC wants to become and the end goal just seems silly at this point. Not because it is anything outside the norm for this genre but because the MC is looking for a hero level power for himself, personally, with only an ability to identify plants. Which could still be neat but the author mainly has this manifest in battle through stat enhancement and potions. And then as soon as the battle starts the focus switches to sword fighting. So the author wants a sword-fighting hero but is trying to write about this plant-gatherer. Frankly I feel the author should have rethought this.

If you like the tags and summary then give this a shot but be aware that this is going to be a looooong story and the pacing is really not great for the episodic releases. There are some minor arcs where things are exciting and you can't wait to read the next chapter but there are also super dull filler chapters. For instance, chapter 160 can be summed up as 'MC found an inn to stay at in this new town. It is run by people with cat ears. They seem nice.' Then chapter 161 is similarly useless. So even with a 1-a-day release schedule you start to get tired of this nonsense and want to get to the plot. Go ahead and binge what's already out and if you enjoy it then make this something you check on once a month.
