It is not bad at all, far from it. The characters are fleshed out, the story is nice, not repetitive and short. I also liked Lin Chi’s character, he was really unique, till... Spoiler
My problem is the typical run away trope. For GOD sake, what would happen if you fight for your own love? Working together, communicate and stuff. But nooo, lets give an ultimatum from the airport (to a romantically reserved caracter) run away, and wait to the other one to come, because “I want to be sure that my love is perfect”. Great, good for you I guess, but to me it sounds ridiculous. There is always uncertainty in a relationship, a “love you “ is not a miracle medicine. Constant care is more important than words, at least to me. I have to admit I am biased, I burnt out because of similar western romanc stories... I am also not too keen about the beat up the grown up adult grandson part.
