From what I'm seeing, the next in line for the series is the same couple, but from the gong's POV instead. Are they the main characters or something in this multiverse?? Getting two whole books and being heavily featured in another.

I didn't enjoy this one as much as the previous three, I'm afraid. It's hard to vocalize exactly what was wrong, but my least favorite arc was the cultivation one where the MC just had to conveniently lose his memory and access to the system, thus making the arc super dog blooded. In general I think this story had a tendency to be much more dog blood than the other ones, even when the other ones had paranoid/obsessive characters. There had to be at least one like big anger event or exposure event every arc before they could actually get together. We also get the first overlap in arc themes I think, the interstellar one where the shou is a military leader and the gong is the head of the thieves/rebels. Not sure if that's intentional.

Overall still pretty enjoyable. Some of the arcs were super cute.
