Regression Is Too Much Chapter 84 Discussion

I've read too many regression novels and way too many regression Manwhas, and I've found that there are two key things necessary to make a great one. First, you must have an emotionally engaging protagonist. Second, you must have a fresh and interesting concept. This novel excels in both categories.

The way this synopsis leads you to believe is its a self-aware comedy, however, the author of this novel instead uses the "regress from any injury" to honestly amplify the rapidity of the emotional aspects of being a regressor. That is the common trope of "its tough, the grind is real", "I feel like I'm all alone" and "I must exploit everything". The rapidity of his regressions are faster, and therefore the speed of the development of these core ideas also occurs more. However, he's self-aware of these tropes, and actively works to prevent himself from developing the harmful aspects of these concepts, not caring about others lives and regressing whenever anything seems slightly tough. The character development is actually fire.

Give this novel a try, not only is the protagonist emotionally engaging, but the accompanying cast of characters is as well. The author really writes the female lead as having an aura of safety I can almost feel, as the protagonist continuously relies on her.

Just give this novel a try, read like 15 chapters, and you will be hooked.
