Where parents willingly manipulate and hurt their own child to get what they want. Parents who actually see children as dolls that they can make and break. Super big spoiler too, the fact that they were able to kick out their own son, their own blood, and hurt him by telling him that he was not their son was just so low, they deserve a special place in hell. They are so hateful.
[collapse] MC and ML's love story is sweet tho. I especially liked that the author was actually able to incorporate the character growth in the story. SpoilerEspecially the point where MC being the tsuntsun he is, was actually able to accept and fight with ML even after he found out what ML's dumb plan was. As a person who has trust issues, being able to stay and stand his ground showed his confidence. He knew that the ML really loved him, still. That doesn't stop him from being mad and expressing his dissatisfaction. Being able to complain and express dissatisfaction is a huge win, especially for those children who grew up neglected and ab*sed by their parents.
And it's really fun to see how the ML slowly but surely was able to learn how to coax his wife properly. Learning the difference between a prideful wife and a demure wife was really cute. I really liked how they showed growth that way.
