I've read most of this novel in machine translation and I'm looking forward to the English translation being completed. It is a long, complicated story but I find the growth of the FL to be worth it. Yes, there are a lot of guy "would be ML" characters but I thought it was very moving seeing how our changed FL impacts other characters' timelines. There are a lot of throw away conversations where you realize how this guy is giving up all that he loves because of the responsibilities of being the next sect leader, this guy is giving up personal relationships because he thought he just wanted super sword skills, etc.Yes, the probable Real ML is kind of a scam - every time someone mentions that one person has an alternate persona as a tiger and another person has a terrible open scar on their face that looks like a claw mark, you will wonder why they can't make the connection but just ¯_ (ツ) _/¯ and go on with story.From what I've read, the real author abandoned this novel into some kind of " I'm revising " limbo. Too bad - I'd like to see how the OG Bads ended up this time.
