90% of this novel involves every character present being absolutely gobsmacked about the unprecedented events unfolding, but the most astonished done is always the MC. If you're not familiar with this trope, it's basically the opposite of the typical reincarnation novel. Usually, in reincarnation novels, the MC's first life was pathetic, but he then lives a badass second life. This is the opposite. The MC's previous lives were awesome, but the second is... not that great. These novels make this enjoyable by having the MC use his wits and strength to overcome the obstacles, but this one doesn't. The MC basically does nothing to address the primary cause for his suffering. Instead of actively trying to fix the issues, he simply does what he did in his previous lives and then he's surprised like an idiot when the heroines guess what he's trying to do. I mean, he knows they know everything about him, what's there to be surprised about? Seriously, at least twice per chapter the MC "feels like smashing his head against the wall" or wonders "what is she up to!?" and he continues to whine like that never doing anything about it.If I had to describe this trope in a simple manner, I'd say it's simiar to the trope of "The Reincarnated Villain Makes the Heroines Tearfully Beg for Forgiveness, " but it's in reverse, where MC regrets messing with the heroines. That would be fine if it took itself seriously, but it's not, so it's just lame. Not to mention it's filled with annoying descriptions of "heaven-defying beauty, " sigh, I don't know how many times I read that.TL;DR: I wasted my time reading this, don't waste yours.
