I'll be real honest, while this isn't the worst thing I've ever read, it's not something I think I'll revisit in the future. The plot is fairly typical, the characters are pretty one-dimensional, and it's kind of a turn-your-brain-off-to-enjoy kind of story. The translations are pretty good, they just don't have a lot to work with, in my opinion.Then I get to their "separation" near the end Spoiler
where she briefly returns to her world
[collapse]--and I'll be honest. I was touched. I got caught up in the grief when they thought they'd never see each other again. I shed tears at the resolution.In the words of the author, "despite it's shortcomings, thank you for giving me this world". (I still probably won't reread this though. Three stars.)
