Another Goated Novel.

The author basically explores what happens "Beyond the Happy End" (pun intended, just look this up and see what you find, hint, it's on Zetro). Imagine the following, you watch your favourite harem anime/read your favourite harem manga/novel and one heroine wins. Let's be optimistic and it's actually your best girl. You brag to your friends that you always knew she'd win although it was pretty unclear and the story ends.

But let's suppose we really have this set up. A harem MC is loved by many girls and in most of these harem stories, the MC is not just dense but also indecisive. I guess you can pull up White Album 2 if you want to see that kind of stuff. Point is, if multiple girls, really, really loved you and each of them had a special moment with you, which was not just he one-sidedly love you but also you feeling affection for them, wouldn't it be likely that you actually fall for multiple people? TL;DR: Harem MC gets together with your girl but then cheats on her with the losing heroines, because hey, who said that losing heroines lose only because the MC got a girlfriend? Love is War after all.

This isn't the story about this foolish harem guy but about the Main Heroine who, although she was best girl and won, was betrayed. She finds herself back in the past and tries to fix everything by herself, not relying on the knight in white armor harem guy. She fails, considers death but then meets another s*upid boy that tells her how fun life can be. This is the story of such childhood friends. As Vol1, I assume the girl likes the MC but the MC only sees her as a childhood friend. But she isn't just your frail main heroine who gets entangled in a bad situation and has to be saved by a harem guy. The MC helped her to become strong herself and even if bad things happen to her, she can save herself, doesn't need the MC or the harem guy to do it for her. Vol1 ends with her saying that she'd rather be MC's childhood friend than a member of some guy's harem. There were some things I didn't like but the author fixed them up for me, so no complaints. If you red the web novel, this is what I mean:

Spoiler

So one of the MC's friends was actually a stalker and almost kidnapped the girl in her past life. She was saved by harem guy which made her fall for harem guy. In the web novel, she catches the stalker red-handed, makes him confess and records it. The only reason she didn't hand him over to the police was because the MC would be sad and lose a friend. In the light novel, it's not her but the MC who catches him red-handed and was ready to hand him to the police himself while feeling sad as heck. The girl told him she'd forgive the guy and later they kind of make up, with him asking if he could take pictures of her when she's with the MC, because she shines the most then. I.e., the stalker who is obsessed with taking pictures of her noticed her feelings for the MC because she's the most beautiful when she's with the MC. Funny twist indeed. The stalker guy was saved by the MC as well. MC is really the Goat in this story.

I didn't like this part because it kind of weakened the FMC for me but author fixed it.

Spoiler

Girl gets assaulted by some guy who couldn't accept the fact that he got rejected for a second time. Guy pulls a knife, Harem guy who has been stalking her wants to save her but she tells him to back off and pulls off some judo moves on the knife guy. MC shows up and is proud: "Yeah, that's my girl. She's not a frail heroine but a strong independent woman!" (In the past, he forced her to take judo classes with him so she could fight back against her bullies herself and she did.)
