I stopped reading at chapter 51 because I had a premonition of it slowly turning bad the further I read. Based on the reviews I think I was right. As far as I know, the world-building and the harem are the 2 essential things in this novel but the author is not the best at portraying the character's personality and development. The main character should fully know that in the new world filled with several different races and magic and sword masters roaming the place, things will develop differently compared to Earth. His introduction of concepts and ideas in Exo's biography is too attached to his old world. Instead of a steam engine train, why not make it a magically-engineered train with implemented wind magic so that it doesn't have to have tracks on the road and risks the possibility of dividing natural ecosystems? Or just make a flying airship, a magical horse that can never exhaust itself or a self-driving carriage. What I value the most in fantasy settings is the mysterious and infinite potential magic could offer. And I think the protagonist, unintentionally or not, still sticks to the already developed ideas on Earth instead of creatively combining the inventions of modern technology and magic to create something entirely new. The protagonist is writing a novel, a world in which he can create anything in it but is bound by his past life's common sense. The harem is not that interesting to me. I heard the further in you read the more p*rny and smutty it is but I stopped myself from reading anymore to save my emotional baggage. But even in the 50 chapters that I read, the femleads aren't too different from each other. Sometimes I even mixed up the 3 girls together and it's until later chapters that I was able to discern the different female leads. In conclusion, this novel is only good at first but turns into smut the more you go in. The world building is very interesting but unfortunately, the author didn't develop it in an interesting and compelling way. Also, the protagonist is literally a guy in his 40s who should be having a mid-life crisis by now but instead is acting like puberty just hits and he didn't bring his emergency teddy bear.
