I try my best to keep reading this "things".

The idea was great, the worlds building is logical and good, that why I expected a lot.

but the problem is the characters. 90% are either scum or dumb.

a guy betray the hero and his friends several times, kill many innocent people, take hostage a friend of the hero and try to kill them.

You will thinks that the hero is angry and will try to take revenge?

But NO, he try to save the guy and the hero with all his friends (even the one taken hostage) cry when the bad guy die.

Like WTF??? He is the worst scum, what are you doing??

Maybe if the bad guy had a tragic past or he had a justification I could understand (understand but not agree), but no, the guy is just a scum.

And that keep happening the hero or his friends are accuse for nothings and everyone try to kill them, but when a bad guy betray his contry again and again everyone is "oh well, that fine, but be carefull next time". BRO???
