I will be brief: very good novel. Characters are likable, the MC, even if he tries to be cold hearted, is just kind and can't help himself from helping others. There are still many chapters ahead, but until now, is a very good and engaging story.NOW WITH THE TECHNICAL CRITIC: There are parts which, I don't know if it's the translator or the author, where they can't decide how to write the characters' names, like there will be parts where you even get confused as to who they are referring to, for example, in a chapter they write the king's name as Kamos, and in another one as Camus or Keimus, in another one they mention the ML as Heymus and in the next moment as Haymus. There's even a part whereSpoiler
Garlan had been kidnapped, and Heymos (ML) learns of this after interrogating the person that was with Garlan, and after learning of what happened, the text says Garlan contracted his pupils. How? Garlan wasn't even there!
[collapse]I even wonder if the translator is outsourcing the translations or is it many translators working under the same pen name and can't agree how to write the characters' names, because it is not possible to have so many mistakes and inconsistencies in a single piece of work. These small details can make the text a little difficult to follow and confusing, but overall, is a very good novel and one of my priorities right now. If these small things get corrected, then that would be great. If they don't bother you, then go ahead and read, you wouldn't regret it.
