I started this with high expectations because of the 5-star reviews from others. In the second world, the MC suddenly had two handy helpers who did all the dangerous work. She had just received 1500 yuan, but there was no explanation of how she found these lackeys. She hired one for a one-time investigation job, and suddenly that person became an assistant doing tasks an investigator shouldn't be doing. The other one just appeared out of nowhere.In the third world, there was no chemistry at all, despite more moments between the MC and the ML. The writing style is okay, but the author failed to make the characters seem alive. I stopped reading when it entered the fourth world because I lost interest.
