The novel is set in ancient times. We have your typical "transmigrated cannon fodder" FL and "reborn avenger" OG!FL with a couple of screws loose all in one. It's hard to describe the novel since it's a bit all over the place. I guess you can call it focusing mostly on family drama? The novel is plot-driven, but it's the kind where the development kind of meanders around with no real endpoint. It's just one odd twist after another XD.THE FL: The FL in this one is okay. Her name is Shen Ziqiao, and she's the wild and foolish daughter of General Shen. Her mother died early, her grandmother treated her unkindly, and she was in love with the 9th prince to the point of obsession. I thought it was interesting at first that the FL ends up just blatantly doing what she wants without paying attention to any etiquette, but obviously, that flys only because the historical setting of this novel is unrealistic. After a while, I slowly got tired of got tired of her handling of things. She's meant to be an adult transmigrator, but her actions are all very childish. Even when she's grown up, she acts like she's constantly throwing a tantrum.THE ML: As for the ML his setup is a bit clumsy. He feels kind of like an add-on. I don't dislike him, don't get me wrong! But he's the type of ML that's there to look good and act possessively. He also falls for the FL because "she's different from other girls" LMAO.OVERALL: It's a bit of a train wreck but it's not to the point of being unreadable. Don't expect it to be of good work, it's really messy! And it also includes a lot of messy ideas (for example, the age gap. The ML starts of 18-20s while the FL is 13, and the ML starts displaying interest in her very early. The FL doesn't do anything till she's of age, but there's a suggestive scene where a girl of 13 years does the do on screen.) So yeah, this novel has quite a few problems outside of just the messy plot and characters. But well, it's a good tr*shy read, if you know what I mean XD.Rating: 3/5TBH, I went into this novel with low expectations. And because of that, I was able to find some interest in it. It's not as bad as I've said it is, but it's definitely not fit to be described as 'good' either lolol. If you like tr*shy novels, then I definitely recommend that you give this one a try. It's quite fun. (OH BTW: There are actual smut scenes in this. Not completely graphic, but it's pretty darn close.)
