A well written and translated story with an deep well of interesting ideas. Unfortunately, its weighed down with a couple critical flaws.To start, the story seems to be split between a typical "reincarnated as a villain" and a tragic revenge. While it's not impossible to blend the two together, the author doesn't seem to have attempted it at all. The reincarnated villain side plays out light hearted only to be loosely tied to a more serious tale of ab*se and revenge. There's a strong disconnect as neither side seems willing to match the other in tone.Next is the leading heroine, who's motivation is nearly incomprehensible. Even now, while I know her overall goal, the finer points of the plan feel like "insert revenge plot here". This becomes a serious problem when you realize that her motivation is the core driving force of this story.Ultimately I am going to stop reading here. While there are many points about the story I enjoy, the faults are too much for me to want to continue.
