There is hope offered in comments but first 6 chapters I want to slap the MC more than Daisy. I hate convoluted -I'll suffer_ for now-... type revenge plots. Who cares why THOT was a THOT. Why bother being in her taint company. Why let your family and staff think of her as ANYTHING for even 20 seconds longer.

The more you let others think good of a person like that the more weight their word against you has. Just burn the bridge NOW! (been there, done that, bought the tshirt, burned the bra)

The main story was a good idea but then it jumps all over the place. None of it seems to come together. I'm halfway through the book and I still don't know what's going on with the 2 main characters or what the actual plot of the story is!
