Although the novel doesn't deserve the five stars rating, here I am anyway, just to show my appreciation towards the translator and the story itself.Despite my opening remark, this novel isn't bad by any stretch of the word. It definitely belongs somewhere in the lower four stars tier. Honestly I was initially put off by the bad reviews and thanks to the suspect if not tr*shy title I stayed away................... but boredom is hell of a drug. And I must say the adage "never judge a book by its cover" proves itself to be true yet again. I'm glad I picked this up. If you can get past the loli dad-con fantasy and the cringe-inducing descriptions of early-stage masochism gimmicks that understandably may drive people away--- this is a decent novel.I won't give up too much of the story. But it's basically a story about two women with a complex borne out of their familial (or perhaps especially daddy) issues that happened to bump into each other in the most unfortunate circumstances. And the slow realisation that the two are more similar than meets the eye. The MC is there to resolve their issues and help them grow. The enjoyment in this story lies in watching that process comes into play--- that growth. Of course it is going to be a slow story. It's a story about a man helping two people develop.I suspect there's also more of the MC than meets the eye too. Not much is given about him up until this point but given the weigh of his views I believe the author had some interesting back story to tell in the future. I am looking forward to seeing what direction the novel is going to take in the future.
