I meant to give it 3/5 stars, not 2.I made it so far but I didn't end up finishing it out of frustration. The author seems to just lose track of their original intent in later chapters, and the protagonist seems like he got dumbed down too to make him cute and sweet for the ML.
I realized that I read a good amount of the other story by this author that is being translated and it had similar issues in regard to losing focus and the protagonist becoming kind of silly for the ML. I think the author actually has good writing skills and is really good at setting up a story initially, but they seem to have trouble following a plot through to a satisfying end.
