I kinda enjoyed this. I found it entertaining enough until) (*&^%$#. Couldn't really read afterwards. It's not really all that horror filled. I mean I guess the kids are scared? But really this just feels like a staged fantasy fiction... lol. The whole genderbender thing isn't really a big aspect of it (at least for what I've read) Maybe the fact that MC was an adult plays a part (what with them trying to take responsibility for the kids). Anyway, I wouldn't read after the) (*&^%$# if I were reading this for the first time.
