The Polnareff and Kakyoin duo did not disappoint! Polnareff’s undying positivity, summoning popcorn, ice cream and telling Kakyoin to relax was adorable. Kakyoin couldn’t get the danger of the situation through to him until Death 13 attacked! But once it did, we learned, they cannot summon their stands in Death 13’s dream world! On top of this, it appeared that they could control the world akin to a dream with how Polnareff could spawn in food but ultimately the enemy stand user could alter that reality further. The scariest thing about this is that it wasn’t the usual case of not remembering your dreams well, it’s literally part of the stand for those who fall into the world to forget what happened to them. There is no way for them to fight back in a confident manner until one of them gets hurt enough that it becomes evident that the baby is the stand user. Although we have much nightmare experience with Kakyoin and the evil detector Jotaro himself so I shouldn't doubt them.
Polnareff’s life was barely saved by Joseph as he had to change the baby's diapers with fully depicted poop! With this much gore who even doubt that, plus we did see the poopy toilet in the Justice arc too. As this was going on, and Polnareff was complaining, they noticed Kakyoin’s discomfort as he slept and he kicked the controls in the plane and put them all in a precarious situation.
