There's so much to say about this series, I don't know where to start. Since many people have left a review of the first few arcs, I'll talk about the novel as a whole. This novel is classified as a romance, but in actuality it's more accurate to call this an abusive novel. FL is ab*sed by the system, which gives her ludicrous, impossible tasks. ML is ab*sed by FL (and 99% of the time he deserves it). And the readers are ab*sed by the tragic plot of every story. You definitely gotta have some masochistic tendencies to love this story πEach arc follows the same basic plot. FL is dropped into the world--usually in a role that has some enmity with ML (e.g. She's the queen who forced him to enter the palace as a eunuch, she's the daughter of the couple who hit and disabled him, she's the cousin who humiliated and ab*sed him, etc.). From there she works on raising his favorability to 100 (the main task), while trying to complete the side quest--which is usually ridiculously hard and counterproductive. These side quests usually entail mentally torturing ML in some way, such as joining the group of rebels that want to kill him, turning on ML and becoming bitter enemies, making ML think she's cheating on him, etc--all while still reaching for that 100 romantic love favorability. As you can see, each arc is a wild ride π FL ends each arc by tragically dying in a way that makes ML go insane. So prepare some tissues. The tragedy is balanced out by the hilarious dialogue between FL and her system. It'll definitely have you chortling with laughter at 3 in the morning. There isn't too much as far as villains or love rivals go (in fact FL is always very excited to meet a love rival because she enjoys playing the white lotus b*tch π). As for our characters, FL is intelligent and sly. She belongs to the shameless category of heroines, and her interactions with the system (who is also extremely shameless) are hilarious. She loves to play the little white flower role and is crazy for beauty (particularly her own π). ML is a yandere in every arc. Usually he's some kind of slag man. He's out to use and ab*se FL in some way at the beginning, so when it comes time for payback, it's easy to feel that he deserves it. But that never stopped me from bawling out my eyes as FL tramples on his heart aND breaks his sanity. The way FL pushes and pulls him every which way usually leads to him blackening and becoming a yandere, with all the classic behaviors, such as being overly possessive, locking her away so only he can see her, breaking her legs so she can't run away, etc. I would not read this story if you don't love yanderes. One of the great things about this story is that it isn't just mindless world hopping. There's also an overarching plot. After completing each world, FL returns to reality with 30 days of health. There, she has interactions with her cold, robotic fiancee who seems to be getting more and more warm and caring (for mysterious reasons) every time she returns.I'm loving this series, and if you like yanderes, world hopping, abusing slag men and amusing dialogue, you will too!
